Manuscript Withdrawal

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy – Research and Evidence on Knowledge in Administration and Management — Medical Electronic Data and Information Systems (REKAM MEDIS)

Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts after submission, as the editorial and peer-review process requires significant time, effort, and resources from editors and reviewers.

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript by submitting a formal written request to the editorial office, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.

  • Before peer review: Withdrawal is generally permitted upon request and confirmation from the editorial office.
  • During peer review: Withdrawal requests will be evaluated by the editorial team and may be declined if the review process has reached an advanced stage or if reviewers have already invested substantial effort in evaluating the manuscript.
  • After acceptance: Withdrawal is not permitted except under exceptional circumstances and is subject to the approval of the Editor-in-Chief.

Withdrawal of a manuscript for the purpose of submitting it to another journal after acceptance is considered unethical and may result in editorial sanctions in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics guidelines.

The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity of scientific publications in the fields of medical records, health information management, electronic medical records, health data management, and health information systems.
