Focus and Scope

Professional Evidence-based Research and Advances in Wellness and Treatment (PERAWAT) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes high-quality, original, and evidence-based research articles in the field of nursing. The journal aims to advance nursing science, improve clinical practice, and support the development of health services through innovative and applicable research findings.

The scope of PERAWAT covers, but is not limited to, the following areas of nursing:

  1. Maternity Nursing
    Research related to maternal and reproductive health, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, family planning, and women’s health services across the life cycle.

  2. Medical-Surgical Nursing
    Studies focusing on nursing care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical–surgical conditions, clinical interventions, patient safety, and quality of care in hospital and clinical settings.

  3. Pediatric Nursing
    Research addressing nursing care for infants, children, and adolescents, including growth and development, disease prevention, and family-centered pediatric care.
