Publication Ethic

Professional Evidence-based Research and Advances in Wellness and Treatment (PERAWAT) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by CV. Get Press Indonesia. PERAWAT disseminates research findings, reviews, and scholarly works in the field of nursing and health sciences, with a focus on evidence-based practice, wellness promotion, and therapeutic advancements. The journal is available as an open-access publication in both online and print formats.

This publication ethics statement outlines the ethical standards and responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors-in-chief, editorial board members, peer reviewers, and the publisher, to ensure integrity, quality, and credibility in scholarly publishing.

Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines

1. Author Ethics

Honesty and Transparency in Reporting
Authors are required to present research findings honestly, accurately, and transparently. Research data must be properly recorded and stored to allow verification if required.

Originality and Anti-Plagiarism
Manuscripts submitted to PERAWAT must be original works and must not involve plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification. Authors must properly cite all sources and are prohibited from submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.

Authorship and Contribution
All individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research should be listed as authors. All authors are collectively responsible for the content of the manuscript.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that may influence the research outcomes or interpretation of the results.

Correction and Retraction
If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they must promptly notify the editor to allow correction, clarification, or retraction of the article when necessary.


2. Editorial and Editorial Board Ethics

Objective and Fair Decision-Making
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts solely on the basis of academic merit, originality, relevance, and clarity, without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religion, or institutional affiliation.

Confidentiality
Editors and editorial board members must ensure the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and related communications throughout the review process.

Conflict of Interest Management
Editors must avoid any conflicts of interest that could compromise impartial decision-making. Manuscripts with potential conflicts should be handled by alternative editors.

Handling Ethical Misconduct
Editors are responsible for taking appropriate action in cases of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or other ethical violations, both before and after publication.

Transparency and Publication Promotion
The journal management ensures transparency in editorial policies, peer-review processes, and publication procedures, and actively promotes published articles for wider academic dissemination.


3. Reviewer Ethics

Objective, Constructive, and Timely Review
Reviewers must conduct evaluations objectively, provide constructive feedback, and complete reviews within the agreed timeframe, focusing solely on the scientific quality of the manuscript.

Confidentiality of Manuscripts
Reviewers are required to maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscripts and must not use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and decline review assignments if such conflicts could affect their objectivity.


4. General Policy

Professional Evidence-based Research and Advances in Wellness and Treatment (PERAWAT) adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors as the primary reference in maintaining ethical standards and publication integrity.

All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—are required to uphold the principles of integrity, neutrality, fairness, and accountability at every stage of publication.
