Manuscript Withdrawal

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy – Knowledge and Child Development in Early Childhood and Kindergarten (KACIAK)

Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts after submission, as the editorial and peer-review process requires significant time and resources from editors and reviewers.

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript by submitting a formal written request to the editorial office, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.

  • Before peer review: Withdrawal is generally permitted upon request.
  • During peer review: Withdrawal requests will be evaluated by the editorial team and may be declined if the review process is at an advanced stage or if substantial editorial and reviewer resources have already been invested.
  • After acceptance: Withdrawal is generally not permitted, except under exceptional circumstances and subject to the decision of the editorial team.

Withdrawal of a manuscript for the purpose of submitting it to another journal after acceptance, or simultaneous submission to another journal without proper notification, is considered unethical and may result in further editorial action in accordance with recognized publication ethics guidelines.

If a manuscript is withdrawn because of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, unethical research involving children, or other forms of academic misconduct, the journal reserves the right to conduct an appropriate editorial investigation.

The Knowledge and Child Development in Early Childhood and Kindergarten (KACIAK) follows recognized ethical standards to ensure integrity, fairness, transparency, confidentiality, and accountability throughout the publication process.
