Publication and Posting Policy

1. Open Access Policy
Fundamental and Applied Research in Medicine and Allied Sciences Indonesia (FARMASI) adopts a full open access policy. All published articles are freely available to the public without subscription or access fees, supporting the broad dissemination and exchange of pharmaceutical and allied sciences research.

2. License and Copyright
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License.

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant FARMASI the right to publish, distribute, and promote the article. Users may share, copy, redistribute, and adapt the published material for lawful purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author and source.

3. Article Processing Charge (APC)
The journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy. Any applicable publication fees are clearly communicated to authors and transparently stated through the journal’s official information channels prior to publication.

4. Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Manuscripts are evaluated based on their originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution to the fields of pharmacy and allied sciences.

5. Publication Ethics
FARMASI adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics standards, including the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The journal is committed to preventing and addressing plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, conflicts of interest, and other forms of publication misconduct.

6. Archiving and Preservation
All published articles are securely archived using reliable digital preservation systems, including LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of the journal’s scholarly content.

7. Article Posting and Accessibility

  • Articles are published online after acceptance, completion of revisions, and final editorial and production processes.

  • The final published version (Version of Record) is freely accessible without subscription or embargo.

  • Article metadata are made available for dissemination through relevant indexing services, repositories, and academic databases.

  • Published articles can be read, downloaded, shared, and accessed by researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and the general public.

8. Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to:

  • Deposit and share the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and appropriate academic platforms.

  • Use their published articles for academic, educational, research, and non-commercial purposes with proper citation of the original publication.

  • Share the published article in accordance with the terms and conditions of the CC BY 4.0 License.

9. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
FARMASI implements article withdrawal, correction, and retraction policies in accordance with recognized international publication ethics guidelines.

Articles may be withdrawn or retracted when serious errors, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, unethical research practices, or other significant forms of publication misconduct are identified. Appropriate notices will be issued to maintain the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scientific record.
