Duties of Authors

  • Authors should cooperate with editors to correct significant errors or, if necessary, retract their work.

Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic quality of the journal by making fair and unbiased decisions based solely on scholarly merit.
  • The peer review process must be conducted with transparency, fairness, and confidentiality, protecting the identity of authors and reviewers when appropriate.
  • Editors must disclose and appropriately manage conflicts of interest.
  • In cases of suspected misconduct, editors are obligated to conduct a thorough investigation and take corrective action in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers should provide objective, confidential, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.
  • They must identify relevant prior research not cited by the authors and alert editors to potential ethical concerns.
  • Reviewer feedback should be constructive, aimed at improving the clarity, rigor, and contribution of the manuscript.
  • Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline assignments when conflicts exist.

Handling Misconduct
