Correction and Retraction

The Perspectives on Advanced New Generations of Global and Local Economic Horizons (Panggaleh) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and accuracy in its publications. To preserve transparency and reliability, the journal establishes the following policies for corrections, retractions, and withdrawals.

Article Corrections

  • Authors are encouraged to promptly notify the editorial team if any significant errors or inaccuracies are identified in their published work.
  • Corrections will be issued as errata or corrigenda in subsequent issues and linked to the original article to maintain transparency.
  • Minor errors that do not affect the main findings or conclusions may be corrected without a formal notice.

Article Retractions

  • Articles may be retracted in cases of major academic or ethical violations, such as plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices.
  • Retractions are made following careful evaluation by the editorial board, often in consultation with the authors and relevant institutions.
  • A retraction notice explaining the reasons will be published and linked to the original article, which will remain accessible in the archive but clearly marked as retracted.

Article Withdrawal

  • Article withdrawal may occur before publication upon the author’s or editor’s request.
  • Withdrawal requests must be accompanied by a formal letter signed by all authors and justified with valid reasons.
If the manuscript has already entered the peer review or production process, withdrawal may be subject to an administrative handling fee to cover processing costs.
  • Authors who repeatedly withdraw manuscripts without valid reasons may be restricted from future submissions to Panggaleh or its affiliated journals.

Transparency and Ethics

  • The journal follows the ethical standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in managing all correction and retraction cases.
  • All decisions aim to preserve academic integrity, transparency, and trust between authors, reviewers, and readers.

By implementing these policies, Panggaleh ensures a responsible and ethical publication environment that promotes credibility, professionalism, and long-term academic trust in the fields of economics and accounting.
