Peer Review Process

The review procedure for manuscripts submitted to the Perspectives on Advanced New Generations of Global and Local Economic Horizons (Panggaleh) journal aims to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and relevance in every published article. The process is conducted through several key stages as outlined below:

1. Preliminary Editorial Assessment
Once a manuscript is submitted, the editorial board performs an initial evaluation to confirm that it aligns with the journal’s aims and scope, as well as adheres to formatting and ethical guidelines. The manuscript is also screened for potential plagiarism.

2. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts deemed suitable in the preliminary stage are forwarded to at least two qualified reviewers. Selection of reviewers is based on their academic expertise and professional experience related to economics, business, or associated disciplines.

3. Review and Evaluation
Each reviewer assesses the manuscript based on originality, research design, analytical accuracy, and the overall contribution of the study to the body of knowledge. Particular focus is given to the methodological soundness, interpretation of findings, and logical coherence of conclusions.

4. Reviewer Feedback
Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations aimed at enhancing the manuscript’s quality. Along with detailed feedback, reviewers issue one of three decisions  acceptance, revision, or rejection  while noting any ethical or originality concerns.

5. Author’s Revision Stage
Authors are invited to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ suggestions. A response letter should accompany the revised version, clearly outlining how each comment has been addressed.

6. Editorial Evaluation and Decision
The editorial team examines the revised manuscript alongside the reviewers’ recommendations to make a final judgment  whether to accept the article, request further revisions, or reject it.

7. Final Publication
Manuscripts accepted for publication proceed to the stages of copyediting, layout formatting, and proofreading before inclusion in the designated issue. All steps of the peer review process are managed through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform.
