Structures, Infrastructure, Planning, Implementation, and Legislation (SIPIL), with Electronic ISSN XXXX-XXXX, is a peer-reviewed journal published by CV. Get Press Indonesia. SIPIL is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics to safeguard the integrity, quality, and transparency of all articles in the field of civil engineering. The journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and requires authors, editors, and reviewers to follow the ethical principles outlined below:

Duties of Authors

  • Authors must provide a truthful and accurate description of their research without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere. All relevant prior studies should be properly cited.
  • Authors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest as well as funding sources that may influence their work.
  • Research involving human participants, community projects, or environmental impact assessments must comply with ethical and legal standards, including necessary approvals.
  • Authors should cooperate with editors to correct significant errors or, if necessary, retract their work.

Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic quality of the journal by making impartial decisions based solely on scholarly merit.
  • They manage the peer review process with transparency, fairness, and confidentiality, safeguarding the identity of both authors and reviewers when appropriate.
  • Editors must disclose and appropriately manage conflicts of interest to prevent bias.
  • In cases of suspected misconduct, editors are obliged to carry out proper investigation and take corrective measures in line with ethical and legal requirements.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers are expected to conduct objective, confidential, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.
  • They should highlight any relevant prior research not cited by the authors and alert the editor to potential ethical concerns or possible misconduct.
  • Reviewer feedback must be constructive, aiming to improve the clarity, rigor, and scientific contribution of the manuscript.
  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline assignments where such conflicts exist.

Handling Misconduct
The journal treats allegations of academic misconduct such as plagiarism, duplicate     submission, and falsification of data with utmost seriousness. Corrective actions, including corrections, retractions, or notices of concern, will be issued where necessary to preserve the scholarly record.
