Publication Ethics:

Public Universal System for Teaching, Archiving, Knowledge, and Open Access (PUSTAKO) (e-ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) is a peer-reviewed journal published by CV. Get Press Indonesia. The journal disseminates research findings in various fields of Library Science, Archival Science, Information Management, and related interdisciplinary disciplines, and is available online as an open access resource. This statement outlines the ethical standards and responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, the Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and the publisher.

Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines:

1. Author Ethics

• Honesty and Clear Reporting
  Authors are required to present research findings honestly, accurately, completely, and transparently, and to retain research data for verification when necessary.

• Originality and Anti-Plagiarism
  The submitted manuscript must be the author's original work and must not involve plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation of data. Authors are required to acknowledge all sources properly and must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal.

• Proper Acknowledgement of Authorship
  All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. All authors share responsibility for the integrity and content of the manuscript.

• Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
  Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research findings or interpretation.

• Correction of Errors
  If a significant error or inaccuracy is identified after publication, the author must promptly notify the editor to issue a correction, retraction, or other appropriate action.

2. Editorial and Editorial Board Ethics

• Objective and Fair Editorial Decisions
  Editors shall evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.

• Confidentiality
  Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and only disclose information to individuals directly involved in the editorial and peer-review process.

• Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
  Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where impartiality could be compromised.

• Handling Plagiarism and Ethical Violations
  Editors are responsible for ensuring that published articles are free from plagiarism and other forms of publication misconduct and must take appropriate action if ethical violations are identified.

• Transparency and Promotion
  The journal maintains transparent editorial policies and promotes ethical scholarly communication and the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge.

3. Reviewer Ethics

• Objective and Timely Assessment
  Reviewers should provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations based solely on the scientific content of the manuscript, without regard to the identity or affiliation of the authors.

• Confidentiality of Manuscripts
  Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and must not use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage.

• Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
  Reviewers should declare any potential conflicts of interest and decline the review if such conflicts could influence their judgment.

4. General Policy

• Public Universal System for Teaching, Archiving, Knowledge, and Open Access (PUSTAKO) follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Ethics as the primary guideline for maintaining publication quality, transparency, and scientific integrity.
• All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must uphold the principles of honesty, fairness, objectivity, confidentiality, and professional responsibility throughout every stage of publication.
