1. Correction

  • Corrections are issued when minor errors are identified in a published article, such as typographical mistakes, inaccurate data, or incorrect author names, which may mislead readers but do not alter the main conclusions of the article.
  • Correction requests can be submitted by authors, readers, or editors after publication.
  • Upon verification, the journal will publish an official correction linked to the original article to maintain transparency and the accuracy of the scientific record.
  • The purpose of corrections is to amend the scientific record without compromising the integrity of the research.

2. Retraction

  • Retraction of an article occurs when serious errors affecting the validity of the research findings are discovered, or in cases of ethical violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or other forms of scientific misconduct.
  • The retraction process follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and involves an investigation by the editors and, if necessary, the affiliated institutions.
  • Retractions will be clearly announced and linked to the original article so that readers are fully informed of the reasons for the retraction.
  • Retracted articles remain accessible with a clear retraction notice to ensure transparency and uphold scientific integrity.

3. Handling Procedure

  • Suspected errors or ethical violations may be reported by authors, readers, reviewers, or other stakeholders.
  • The editorial team will conduct an initial assessment and may request clarification or supporting documentation from the authors.
  • If the concern is confirmed, the journal will take appropriate action, including issuing a correction or retraction depending on the severity of the issue.
  • In cases of disputes or disagreements, the journal will follow COPE guidelines to ensure a fair, transparent, and objective resolution.

4. Responsibilities of All Parties

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the data and content presented in their articles.
  • Editors and reviewers are responsible for maintaining the quality, credibility, and ethical standards of the publication process.
