Publication Ethics:

Management and Applied Learning in Local and Adventure Tourism (MALALA) (e-ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) is a peer-reviewed journal published by CV. Get Press Indonesia. The journal disseminates research findings in the fields of tourism management, local tourism development, adventure tourism, hospitality, tourism education, and applied learning in tourism studies. The journal is available online as an open access resource. This statement outlines the ethical standards and responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, the Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and the publisher.

Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines:

  1. Author Ethics
  • Honesty and Clear Reporting
    Authors are required to present research findings honestly, accurately, and transparently, and maintain research data properly for verification when necessary.
  • Originality and Anti-Plagiarism
    The submitted manuscript must be the author’s original work and must not contain plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data. Authors are required to cite references appropriately and must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • Proper Acknowledgement of Authorship
    All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research must be listed as authors, and all authors share responsibility for the content of the manuscript.
  • Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
    Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of the research results.
  • Correction of Errors
    If authors discover significant errors in their published work, they are obligated to promptly notify the editor and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article if required.

  • Objective and Fair Editorial Decisions
    Editors must evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religion, or institutional affiliation.

    Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and must not disclose information to parties outside the publication process.
  • Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
