About the Journal

Management and Applied Learning in Local and Adventure Tourism (MALALA) is an open access peer-reviewed journal published by CV. Get Press Indonesia, e-ISSN number (XXXX-XXXX). This journal provides a platform for academics, researchers, and professionals to contribute high-quality research in the fields of sustainable tourism management, local tourism development, adventure tourism, and applied learning in tourism studies. Management and Applied Learning in Local and Adventure Tourism (MALALA) has been indexed by International Copernicus Index (ICI) (Coming Soon), Google Scholar, and Crossref (Coming Soon) from 2025 to present. This recognition acknowledges the quality of the journal and its contribution to the exchange of scientific knowledge.

All articles are freely available online under the CC BY 4.0 license and are published quarterly. Submission and peer review are free of charge. Management and Applied Learning in Local and Adventure Tourism (MALALA) is dedicated to pioneering and disseminating high-quality research in tourism management and applied tourism studies. All submitted manuscripts must comply with the Management and Applied Learning in Local and Adventure Tourism (MALALA) policy as described in the Publication Ethics based on the COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA) for the principles of transparency and best practices for scientific publication. The journal does not accept advertising and does not send direct marketing to any parties.
