Duties of Authors

  • Authors should cooperate with editors to correct errors or retract articles if necessary.

Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for the content and quality of the journal, making fair and unbiased decisions based solely on the manuscript’s academic merit.
  • They manage the peer review process transparently and confidentially, ensuring the anonymity of authors and reviewers when applicable.
  • Conflicts of interest must be declared and managed to avoid bias.
  • Editors act in accordance with legal requirements and ethical standards, handling suspected misconduct with appropriate investigation and action.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must conduct timely, objective, and confidential evaluations of manuscripts.
  • They should identify relevant prior work the authors have not cited and alert the editors to any ethical concerns or possible misconduct.
  • Reviewer comments should be constructive and aimed at improving the quality of the manuscript.
  • Conflicts of interest should be disclosed, and reviewers should decline to review manuscripts if conflicts exist.

Handling Misconduct
