Publication Ethic

Journal of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (K3) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement is based on the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to this journal must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

  • All data presented are accurate, honest, and free from fabrication, falsification, or manipulation.

  • Proper acknowledgment of the work of others is provided through appropriate citations.

  • All listed authors have made significant contributions to the research and agree to the final version of the manuscript.

  • Any conflict of interest (financial or non-financial) is clearly disclosed.

  • Research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data complies with ethical standards and approvals, where applicable.

2. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

Editors of the journal are responsible for:

  • Making editorial decisions based solely on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of the manuscript.

  • Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer review process.

  • Preventing and addressing cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication, and ethical misconduct.

  • Avoiding conflicts of interest and maintaining editorial independence.

  • Upholding the integrity of the academic record, including issuing corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary.

3. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Conduct reviews objectively, constructively, and confidentially.

  • Provide clear, evidence-based feedback to improve manuscript quality.

  • Declare any conflict of interest and decline review assignments when necessary.

  • Avoid using unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for personal advantage.

  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.

4. Peer Review Process

The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain impartiality and integrity.

5. Plagiarism and Originality

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism, duplication, or unethical practices will be rejected or retracted, following COPE procedures.

6. Conflict of Interest

All parties involved in the publication process (authors, editors, reviewers) must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the evaluation or interpretation of the manuscript.

7. Corrections and Retractions

The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy of the scholarly record. When errors, ethical issues, or misconduct are identified after publication, the journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.

8. Open Access and Copyright

The journal operates under an open access policy. All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use with proper attribution.
