This journal provides a platform for academics, researchers, educators, and education practitioners to publish high-quality research in the field of education. Gateway for Understanding Research in Education has been indexed by the International Copernicus ICI, Google Scholar, and Crossref from 2025 to present. This recognition reflects the journal's commitment to quality and its contribution to advancing educational knowledge and scholarly communication.

All articles are freely available online under the CC BY license and are published biannually in May and November. Submission and peer review are free of charge. Gateway for Understanding Research in Education is dedicated to advancing and disseminating high-quality research that contributes to the development of educational theory, policy, and practice. The journal welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and best practice studies covering educational regulations, learning activities, learning strategies, teacher professionalism, learners, education personnel, educational institutions, educational environments, parenting patterns, and other issues related to educational practice. Interdisciplinary research that addresses contemporary educational challenges is strongly encouraged. All submitted manuscripts must adhere to the publication ethics and editorial policies based on the COPE Best Practice Guidelines, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA) Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. This journal does not accept advertising and does not engage in direct marketing to any parties.
