1. Open Access Policy

Global Exploration of Geospatial Research and Analysis for Future Innovation (GEOGRAFI) adopts a full open access policy. All published articles are freely available to the public without subscription or access fees.

2. License and Copyright

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License .

Authors retain full copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to publish, distribute, and promote the article.

3. Article Processing Charge (APC)

The journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy. All applicable fees are clearly stated and transparently available on the journal’s website prior to submission.

4. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to geography, geospatial science, spatial analysis, remote sensing, geographic information systems, environmental studies, regional planning, and geospatial innovation.

5. Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to international publication ethics standards, including the prevention of plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, conflicts of interest, and other forms of academic and publication misconduct.

6. Archiving and Preservation

All published articles are digitally archived through appropriate preservation systems, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), to ensure long-term accessibility, security, and preservation of the journal's scholarly content.

7. Article Posting and Accessibility

  • Articles are published online after acceptance, completion of the peer-review process, and final editorial production.

  • The final version of the article (Version of Record) is freely accessible without embargo.

  • Article metadata are disseminated to relevant indexing services and academic databases to support discoverability and access to published research.

8. Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to:

  • Deposit and share the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms.

  • Use their articles for academic and non-commercial purposes with proper citation to the original publication.

  • Share their published work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License.

9. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy

The journal implements withdrawal and retraction policies in accordance with recognized international publication ethics guidelines. Articles may be withdrawn or retracted when significant errors, ethical violations, plagiarism, research misconduct, manipulation or falsification of geospatial data, or other serious issues affecting the integrity of the publication are identified.
